The Triangle park in Copenhagen's Nordhavn was thought up as venue for the world-famous skate-festival that is CPH Pro (today: CPH Open). The idea behind it was to set a perfect stage for some of the world's best pros and the skateboard crowd beyond the regular indoor-skatepark set-up. And also to provide the city and the locals with a new park to skate once the event was done, and upvalue the disused industrial port lot for modern day users to benefit from. The realisation took place as part of the Spot Delivery Tour endboss created for Levi's. The park features street-inspired obstacles of concrete and granite arranged in a triangle shape. The CPH-Open events are one of a kind. Each year anew its makers shatter conventions and reinvent the skateboard contest we thought we knew. Gradually dismissing the “faster, higher, further”-show in favour of an approachable, tangible skate festival – spectacle and surplus for everyone! CPH Open projects the skateboard contest format out of the lab condition skatepark into real life. Via several stops of real spots on real streets. Out, for everyone to be apart of, and dive right in.
+ Method: Co-Creation
Together with our clients and all parties involved, we try in a collaborative process to arrive at common approaches to solutions that are supported by all. For this purpose we have developed a need-oriented, result-open workshop format that adapts flexibly to the respective location and the respective challenge.

Triangle park is supporting this approach with its slighty rugged and streety looks and obstacles, making for a contrasting juxtaposition to the clinic perfection of functional indoor skatepark-contest set-ups.Spread over three triangle shaped paths the park features a bump to bar and downledge obstacle, flat ledges, banks and hips. All designed to serve event needs as well as an easy Sunday session. With its slightly rugged granite obstacles on troweled concrete surfaces Triangle park fits right in with its weathered industrial harbour surroundings. The triangle shape provides optical tension as well as tons of skateboarding entertainment. The idea for Triangle park was a joined effort directed by endboss. Implementation was part of the Spot Delivery Tour 2015, a concept endboss created for Levi's.
