Gardenbus
A rolling greenhouse for the Garden Region Hannover.
Green, green, green are all my plants. For the tenth anniversary of the Garden Region Hannover it was once again time for our double-decker bus to dress you up! This time in his favourite colour green.
We started the year 2019 as gardeners and carpenters, raised beds were built, seeds sown and plants planted. Disguised as a cleaning crew, we did a spring cleaning in the sunshine. Some of the team members made their dream job as bus drivers come true, others opened their own café, the bus went on its favourite pastime and rolled through the green region of Hannover.
From May to October, we accompanied the team "Regional Local Recreation" of the Hannover Region and took a break together at a total of ten selected places. We piled up plants, seesaws, stages, hammocks and people, went on a long trip and celebrated the green parks, gardens and treasures in front of our doors.

+ Method: Mobile Intervention
Thanks to our oldest team member - a double-decker bus built in 1979 - we are able to organise a tailor-made mobile intervention for every project and every occasion, which not only takes people away and brings ideas somewhere they haven't been before, but also generates additional attention and solves all (superficial) transport and (deeper) transfer questions in one go..
+ Method: Performative Urbanism
An understanding of urban development, architecture and the appropriation of the city, not only as an urban space and framework for action, but as a performative subject in itself: not (only) performance in the city, but the city as performance!.

With our double-decker bus we offer unusual trips through urban space, which can either be tailor-made, as a building block, planned for specific projects or become the focal point of a project itself.
