A fifteen-year-old's letter to the editor of a local newspaper caught the council's attention spawned the planning for Skateparks Wieblingen. endboss channelled the feedback of two workshops into the overlap of space, budget and user demands. The task for Wieblingen: combining basic street evergreens into an interesting skatepark on limited space and appealingly embed it into its surroundings. Thought-out placing of workshop demands “basic street features” makes the compact 500m2 work as a whole. A lot of skatepark fit into relatively small space. Earth tone coloured concrete surfaces accent the organic shot crete shapes and establish a smooth blend into the rural surroundings.Build: Approx. fall 2018 Size: 500m2
+ Format: Transparent Planning Office
In order to make participation processes in public space more accessible and easier for all parties to understand, we have developed the format of the transparent planning office. Here public planners and citizens come together directly at a (working) table not only to discuss ideas, but also to test their professional feasibility and to promote an understanding of feasibility limits: "Take a look at the plan here, where should it go, the city forest in the pedestrian zone? We can draw it in together..."
