We organized an international DesignBuild Summer School, which took place as part of our conference “you promised me a city”, for which we cooperated with the Institute of Design and Urban Planning at Leibniz Universität Hannover, the Slovak University of Technology - Faculty of Architecture and Design in Bratislava/Slovakia and the School of Architecture - National Technical University of Athens in Athens/Greece.

Students from the three universities identified productive urban dissonances over the summer semester 2021 and explored these in the week before the conference on site in Hanover through architectural interventions in the field of tension between language and architecture. This publication summarizes the process and the results of the various designs implemented in the urban space. (Because the works turned out so beautifully, there will be an extra article on this!) A big thank you goes to the lecturers from our partner universities for their cooperation and trust at short notice: The Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and the School of Architecture in Athens. And we would especially like to thank Hanna Noller, with whom we devised and implemented this summer school - best possible partner in crime!
