We call it FREIGANG - Feasibility study, former prison, Bremen, 2023-2025

It was actually agreed that the results of the feasibility study would be presented on a large scale - with an exhibition, publication and a copy for all those involved. The idea behind it: Users should be able to develop their own plans for the site on the basis of the study - and discuss possible developments in a well-informed manner.

Instead, publication was blocked after the election in Bremen, including delays and excuses. Even our offer to cover the printing costs did nothing to change this.

Only after pressure from the press did the study then “secretly” appear in the farthest corner of the administration website. So that it didn’t disappear completely, we had a copy printed - here you can see how nice it would have looked.

Sorry Bremen - a real shame for you.
