We are an interdisciplinary team, unafraid of new challenges. We come from the fields of architecture and urban planning, fine arts and literature, open space planning, cultural studies, landscape architecture and construction. We see the built space and the variable open spaces in between as responsible design tasks that we approach in new ways, with different means and in different team constellations with every project. We try to avoid routines and methodological boxes - instead, we work constantly and with increasing success on our maneuverability in uncertain terrain. We feel most comfortable in this area because we are convinced that unpredictability and the unprogrammed are, or should be, two decisive factors in our life together and our planning. And what else:

  • We are a member of the Lower Saxony Chamber of Architects and authorized to submit building plans.

  • In addition to German, our team also speaks English, Spanish, Polish and Russian.

  • In individual projects, we draw on the knowledge and skills of freelancers and experts as required. (If you are interested in working with us, please send us a short e-mail and don’t forget to include your portfolio).

  • Robin is an architect, urban planner and co-founder of Endboss. He studied architecture and urban planning in Hanover and Athens, is a fellow of the Federal Government’s Competence Center for Cultural and Creative Industries and is registered on the list of design authors of the Lower Saxony Chamber of Architects. His work moves between planning, cultural practice and strategic urban development - with a particular interest in self-organization, interstitial spaces and complex approval processes, for which he likes to find ways to make seemingly impossible projects feasible after all. In his master’s thesis, he dealt with a topic that continues to be the most exciting for him: The potential of the disorderly, the unplanned and the unpredictable. Which, if you are completely honest as a planner, includes the vast majority of things - provided, of course, that you have the ambition to plan for the future. And only if you are honest. In addition to his work at Endboss, he is a professor for “Sustainable Cities and Communities” at the University of Kassel.

  • Lennie grew up in the countryside in the Hanover region, where he climbed the “boards that mean the world” at an early age. On a skateboard in the farm’s own barn and on stage in his parents’ theater projects. He later appeared in various commercials and film productions in Berlin, some with well-known casts. He had his acting breakthrough with “Bungalow” by Ulrich Köhler, for which he even won international awards. However, because he disliked the “doorbell cleaning” at castings, he preferred to return to the other board, which also means the world to him: The skateboard. And he got pretty far with it too, traveling the world from 1998-2018 as a professional for various sponsors (including Nike, Cleptomanix and Radio Skateboard). Photos from his active time can be found in over 200 issues of various skateboard magazines. And because Lennie obviously doesn’t do things by halves, he planned and built his first ramps at the age of 13 and - how could it be otherwise? - and has been part of the DIY skate movement since the very beginning. As an autodidact, he has acquired extensive knowledge in timber construction, concrete construction, design work and visualization, as well as one or two urban spaces. He also holds a diploma from the International Street University in Streetsmarts and a Master of Skatearts. At endboss, he logically takes care of skatepark planning and frequently produces designs that are celebrated nationally and internationally.

  • Kristina studied architecture and urban planning at Leibniz Universität Hannover. There she worked for two years as a tutor at the Institute for History and Theory of Architecture, often dealing with spatial narratives conveyed through various media in her work and also investigating sustainable settlement structures in flood-threatened coastal areas. Kristina has been working in project work at endboss since 2023. Her focus is on urban development for the common good and she is particularly interested in interdisciplinary collaboration and the design of participatory processes as tools for a socially just city. Kristina is also involved in the nationwide young talent association nexture+.

  • David studied landscape architecture and environmental planning in Erfurt and completed his master’s degree in landscape architecture at Leibniz Universität Hannover. He already worked as a tutor during his bachelor’s degree and gained his first experience in a planning office - with an early focus on skatepark planning.skating has accompanied him since his youth, as has the practical handling of materials: by working with steel, he developed a feel for construction and craftsmanship early on. Alongside his studies, David was active in various fields - including managing a bar, working in variety shows and as a swimming and surfing instructor. These varied experiences and travels sharpened his eye for social spaces, movement and user-centered design. During his master’s degree, he started as a working student at endboss and quickly became involved in skatepark projects. Today, he manages skatepark and schoolyard planning projects there - with a focus on movement-promoting, inclusive open spaces that combine social, functional and design requirements.

  • Santiago studied landscape architecture at Leibniz Universität Hannover and worked as a tutor and research assistant at the Institute of Landscape Architecture during his studies. He has been with endboss since spring 2021, where, after his time as a student assistant, he now supports various projects in service phases 1-5 in open space planning on a permanent basis. As a Colombian-born planner, Santiago pursues decolonial approaches and brings a transcultural perspective to design more equitable and collective spaces that challenge power relations and make diverse voices visible. In doing so, he takes into account the needs of all living beings as well as the material, ecological and social contexts. In addition to his professional work, Santiago is involved in grassroots democratic and political initiatives to promote social and ecological justice and global solidarity.

  • Niklas studied architecture and urban planning at the Leibniz University of Hanover with intermediate stops in Ljubljana and Amsterdam. During his studies, he started as a working student at endboss and is now a permanent member of the team. As a project manager, he keeps an eye on the different scale levels and service phases - from the initial concept to implementation. His interest lies in the intersection of architectural forms of expression - with a particular focus on the interplay between digital design methods and practical, experimental approaches, whereby the needs and perspectives of the user group are always at the center of the design process. In addition to his work, he is involved in various local associations and initiatives and has long been active both as a group leader in youth work and as a coach in sports clubs.

  • Patrick studies architecture at the University of Kassel and was part of the tutorial team at the Department of Fine Arts for a long time, as well as working on the student committee for artistic qualifications. In addition to his studies, he is artistically active in a community studio. He creates situational installations and is primarily concerned with off-site exhibitions, the staging of modified objects, dystopia and its documentation - far removed from classic, institutional exhibition spaces.

Patrick completed his internship at Stadtlabor Wittenberg. There he got to know experimental urban development, organized the physical space and low-threshold participation formats together with Kristina Gergert and supported the projects in their implementation.

  • Luise is studying architecture at Leibniz Universität Hannover and has just finished her bachelor’s degree. She is supporting Endboss as part of an internship at Stadtlabor Wittenberg. Luise likes it when big ideas become real spaces. What particularly appeals to her about Endboss is that what often remains utopian during her studies happens here: trying things out, negotiating, implementing.

  • Luisa studied journalism and communication design and is currently studying spatial planning at TU Dortmund University. Since 2016, she has been working independently on projects between art, media and the city: from skate sculptures in public spaces, podcasts and exhibitions to the temporary conversion of a church into a third place. As a digital editor at CORRECTIV, she develops formats on disinformation on TikTok, thus combining journalistic education with media competence. She is also involved in networks such as the Urban League and Urbane Praxis e.V., where she contributes artistic and participatory approaches to urban development. Her focus is on the question of how urban spaces can be experienced anew through art, culture and critical journalism.

  • Amadeus supports the supervision of the city laboratory, events, communication and other joint activities in the “Stadtlabor Wittenberg” project
